Division of responsibilities:

The Sending Organization will be responsible for:

-       establishing and maintaining the contact between the volunteer(s) and Hosting Organization;

-       being in constant contact before, during and after the implementation of the voluntary service with both Hosting Organization and volunteer(s);

-       preparing the travelling conditions for the volunteer(s);

-       preparing the volunteer(s) for the activities in the Hosting Organization;

-       involving the volunteer(s) in all informing activities (before departure and after returning) organized by the sending organization;

-       organization of the pre-departure and evaluation trainings;

-       after they return from EVS, involving the volunteer(s) in the follow-up activities and in the dissemination of results;

-       offering assistance for the volunteer(s) by providing guidance in their future educational and professional development.

The Hosting Organization will be responsible for:

• ·         ensuring that the volunteer(s) participation in the on-arrival training;

• ·         offering language support and mentorship for volunteer(s);

• ·         finding a suitable mentor for the volunteer(s);

• ·         helping the volunteer integrate with the local community, adjust to the surroundings, socialize with local youth and overcome any possible cultural shock;

• ·         organizing activities suitable to the objectives of the project and encouraging the volunteer(s) to develop their own ideas;

• ·         arranging for the organization’s staff to provide assistance for the tasks that the volunteer(s) will have;

• ·         assisting the volunteer(s) in the learning process and making sure that the Youth Pass gives evidence of that;

• ·         providing suitable living conditions to the volunteer(s) (allowance, accommodation, food, local transport).

• ·         completing the Youth Pass form together with the Hosting organization and the volunteer(s);

• ·         participating in the recruitment of volunteer(s);

• ·         managing conflicts between all parts involved.
